Description of Service We are a Pre-5 establishment, providing quality education and child care.
Capacity We provide 76 full time equivalent places for children ages 6 weeks - to those not yet attending Primary school. We offer various a.m/p.m and full time places.
Establishment Hours The Centre is open between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm. Staff members work a shift rota so that the service is flexible to meet the needs of parents/carers.
Description of area/building Paisley Children's Centre serves partnership areas based in Central Paisley. We are based in Paisley Town Centre. The nursery is a bright modern purpose building which incorporates 3 main areas; (which you will learn more about here) one for the 0-2 year olds, 2-3 year olds and 3-5 year olds. There is also a feelings room, indoor and outdoor physical area, children's committee area and parent's room.
Community Links The Centre has a mini bus & escort who transport some children to and from the nursery. All children go on regular outings to varous places of interest within the Paisley area. There are a variety of parent's groups who support the nursery.
Liaison and visits We have close links with many outside agencies such as schools, colleges, health agencies, Social Work Department, speech and language therapists, the Panda Centre and Educational Psychologists. For more information please do not hesitate to contact us. :-)
